United Way focuses on our community’s most serious problems through strategic investments in Education, Income and Health. United Way funds over 160 programs at 80 local agencies, helping hundreds of thousands of people each year. Just as the people United Way helps are culturally and economically diverse, clients benefiting from United Way-funded programs represent a diverse geography. In certain zip codes, over 40% of all residents utilize a United Way-funded service. United Way’s reach extends beyond Milwaukee County and its central-city neighborhoods into suburban and rural areas throughout Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha Counties.
