Each year, businesses dedicated to making a difference in our community select valued employees to serve as full-time loaned executives (LEs) who serve as the foundation of United Way’s annual workplace campaign.
Each loaned executive is in a unique position to impact our community. Good candidates include new hires, retirees, managers-in-training and employees who can benefit from rigorous training, development and networking within the business community. The program provides both intensive classroom and hands-on training in leadership, presentation, sales, project management, organizational and communications skills. On December 4, your employee(s) returns to you with enhanced leadership skills, after having made a real difference in our community.
When you loan an employee to United Way of Greater Milwaukee you are investing in the future of your organization, your employee and your community. If you cannot loan an employee, please consider making a financial contribution of $9,000 to cover the cost of sponsoring an LE that United Way will hire.
for more information or call 414-263-8122.
Are you interested in becoming a loaned executive, but are not currently working in the corporate world? Corporate sponsorships may allow you to become part of the dynamic team of professionals who impact our community by working directly with businesses and organizations in Greater Milwaukee during United Way's 2008 campaign.
You'll receive the same intensive classroom and hands-on training afforded to loaned executives who are placed through their companies, and your networking opportunities are invaluable.
Great candidates include those who have professional experience, but are not currently working full-time, retirees looking to "give-back" to the community, and others who have an intense desire to make a positive difference in Greater Milwaukee. If you are interested, please check our job listings for a detailed description of the position, and the qualifications needed to be part of this dedicated team.
