What is Days of Caring?
Days of Caring is two weeks of volunteer projects that take place throughout the Greater Milwaukee area.  Local nonprofit organizations request help, and United Way working in partnership with the Volunteer Centers of Greater Milwaukee and Ozaukee County, mobilize teams of volunteers from our partner companies to produce valuable, visible results.

Some volunteers enjoy hands-on beautification work like painting or yard work, while others read to children or socialize with older adults on an outing to the zoo.  Many more collect school supplies, non-perishable food items and other necessities that are often taken for granted.

Why participate?
