(Milwaukee, WI – September 15, 2003) United Way of Greater Milwaukee, which runs a community campaign in Southern Ozaukee County and United Way of Northern Ozaukee have formed a partnership to provide a clearer understanding of United Way's mission and role to Ozaukee County residents. The primary goal of the partnership, which was forged for the 2003 United Way Community Campaign, will seek to raise the level of awareness and support for United Way among county residents.

During the 2003 United Way Community Campaign, both United Way organizations will use the same campaign theme, "United Way. Think About It". The edgy, new campaign is designed to make residents think about making United Way a priority for the betterment of the entire community. Campaign materials, including brochures and posters, that are distributed to Ozaukee County workplaces will contain identical marketing messages. This joint effort will result in cost savings for both United Way organizations and offers a clearer, more transparent understanding of United Way to Ozaukee residents.

Additionally, United Way of Greater Milwaukee and United Way of Northern Ozaukee will work together to identify and develop new workplace campaigns throughout Ozaukee County.

United Way of Greater Milwaukee recently kicked-off their 2003 Community Campaign on September 4th, with a goal of raising $500,000 in the Southern Ozaukee area.

United Way of Northern Ozaukee's Community Campaign will officially kick-off on September 16th and seeks to raise $160,000. .
